The main difference in SurveyWebâ„¢ and other similar products is that other products are open to general internet public. This turns the primary purpose – the analysis by other products to be incorrect and nevertheless, the product becomes vulnerable and less security. SurveyWebâ„¢ is open exclusively to companies which subscribe to it for internal use within their companies or subsidiaries.

SurveyWebâ„¢ is hosted as an ASM (Application Service Model). This makes feature makes it produce unbiased analysis reports and absolutely secure from external threats. The SurveyWebâ„¢ was developed in ASP.net and VB.net (where and if needed) using MySQL. This enables future scaling of the product and low cost maintenance. User Validation and Security

User Hierarchy:

Role based Access security: The rights for creating any account are solely owned by top users. Top level admin can defines the role of an existing User ID. The actor with managerial rights can modify the access right of an existing user, however, the vice versa is not true.

Templates for Survey Creation:

Surveys can be created from scratch (no needs for templates) or some templates available may be used for quick use. User can also create templates through after login to the system as top level admin.

Accounts Hierarchy:

Site Master Account (also referred as Super Admin) There will be a Site Master Account for the site. Only the Master Account can create Company Accounts.

Company Accounts: There will be no self registering for Company Account. It will always be created by the Site Master Account. Each Company Account will have, besides an ID, the same info as required by user to register in usual application related to biography (Name, address, e-mail, etc). This can be also called the Admin User. The Company Account will be identified by a Master Admin User. The Master Admin User will be a kind of administrator for each entire Company Account. Therefore, there should be only one Master Admin User per Company Account.

Master Admin User:

Master Admin Users (also sometimes referred as super admin) will be able to

• Create unlimited number of Subsidiaries

• Create unlimited numbers of User Accounts directly connected to the Company Account. (users connected to the Subsidiaries will be created by the Subsidiaries administrators)

• Create unlimited number of Users Groups connected to the Company Account.

• Define if that Company Account will have Anonymous/Guest account. (i.e., one account that can answer Company’s surveys without login on with their specific User ID and Password.

• View Results of Company Surveys and Subsidiaries Surveys

Subsidiary Admin User:

Subsidiary Admin Users (sometimes referred as admin only) will be able to:

• Create unlimited numbers of User Accounts connected to its own subsidiary

• Create unlimited number of users groups connected to its own subsidiary

• Define if that Subsidiary will have Anonymous/Guest account. (i.e. one account that can answer Subsidiary’s surveys without login on with their specific User ID and Password.

• View Results of its own Subsidiaries Surveys Regular Users and Anonymous/Guest Users

• Respond to surveys they are assigned to.

• Guest users will only be able to view surveys that the Master or Subsidiary administrator defined as viewable by guest users.

Analysis and Survey Results:

Results of any of the survey done can be seen at any given instance of time. This will include the display in graphical format for MCQs and descriptive answers as well.

Contents Management System:

In addition to all above stated features, SurveyWebâ„¢ has a complete CMS (Contents Management System) built in it. Which means you can modify or add any contacts appearing on it. This includes the contents appearing on the HOME page, product owner information (which appears on website), all contents appearing under Features link, Support form, Contact information, all contents appearing on Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Site Map etc.

Saving Survey: Each survey is stored in XML format in addition to database tables. In other words, regardless how the developer decides to store each survey in the database, it should be available in a single XML too. This XML is preferred in the database also but can be a separate file on disk space too.

Support Form:

The Support form is fully form is fully functional and working. A user can send any type of query with automatic subjects which will be directly emails to the pre-specified email addresses. The default email server is used which can also be changed as per the client wish.

As super admin, you can create new users, companies, create new Admins, view reports and manage everything, create administrative users as well. Of course, you can also conduct, configure and manage all types of surveys. Manage Users, respective Profiles, Manage companies, sub companies, sub users, Address book and User groups etc. An administrator can create unlimited surveys and then authenticate selected users or group of users falling under some companies to take that survey and answer to those surveys questions. IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING:

This phase is concerned with the physical implementation of the software and need hardware and software resources. A client may use the services of Chrome Technologies through its product available online for less cost. However, if the client has purchased a industrial license then the source code will be provide to him. However, the client will be bound by the EULA (End User License Agreement) according to which he will ensure to protect the source code and must not be involved in illegal proliferation. Chrome Technologies will offer free services to install the SurveyWebâ„¢ product in the client’s environment (assuming to be to be supported by SurveyWebâ„¢ – as stated in Environment section). The installation process may take up to 3 business days. User training is the last but really important part of any product because they are going to use that so we need to train them fully, according to their needs. After software is developed and tested, it is ready to use now but we are not the users, we have to train the users so that they can easily handle the software and can be benefited as much as possible.

OWNERSHIP AND COPYRIGHTS OF SURVEYWEBâ„¢:

Details of product, project developed source code, design, database, installed data will remain the under the ownership of Chrome Technologies. A buyer, however, will have the license to use the application.

SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE:

Support & Maintenance service to the client/ representative will be given under certain cases. Chrome Technologies may charge for support or maintenance depending upon the initial level agreement.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

The system is developed using an iterative approach so that errors in interpretation or any misunderstandings may not extend to the end of the project.

STANDARDS FOLLOWED:

Standards are essential to ensure a consistent development and thus resulting in a high quality software product. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

SurveyWebâ„¢ Server requirements include any shared server from reasonably reputed hosting company. It may take up to a maximum of 20 MB memory space and disk size of 5 MB for installation and database depending upon the usage requirements of the client. Interruption to the local machine may cause un-expected problems or latency in the data retrieval and synchronization. Similarly if the machine is having its hands full with programs occupying full memory, then this will result in bad performance by the software. The software will require some other software components which it must coexist like .Net runtime library.

SAFETY AND SECURITY OF PRODUCT AND DATA

There are possible losses, damage, or harm that could result from the use of the product. These include the crash of the operating system or the hard disk failure or burnt computer for any internal/external reason. The safeguard recommended is to take back up after every critical time by the client himself.
